Today, on the Inside Trader Joe’s podcast , the grocer announced the winners of its 12th annual Customer Choice awards , highlighting the most popular products across eight categories, plus the overall winner of the most popular Trader Joe’s product among customers. Last year , the big news was that Everything But the Bagel Seasoning had finally broke the Mandarin Orange Chicken’s three-year streak as the overall winner. But this year, when all the votes had been counted … **drumroll, please** Everything But the Bagel was back in second place.
The overall winner of the 12th annual Trader Joe’s Customer Choice awards is once again the Mandarin Orange Chicken . It also won the Entrees category vote, amassing 10 times as many votes as the second-place winner — the kind of impressive dominance needed to continue its championship run over so many years.

The other top products of the year include the following:
- #2 Everything But The Bagel Seasoning Blend
- #3 Cauliflower Gnocchi
- #4 Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
- #5 Unexpected Cheddar
Category winners include perennial champion Unexpected Cheddar for Cheese, Teeny Tiny Avocados for Produce, and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups for Favorite Dessert or Sweet. The Beverage award went to Sparkling Black Tea with Peach Juice, while the Home, Bath, and Beauty winner was the Scented Candles. Soy Chorizo came up on top in the vegan and vegetarian category, while the unsurprising Snack victor was Peanut Butter Pretzels.

While the awards don’t hold too many surprises for long-time Trader Joe’s fans, it gives first-time shoppers a little insight on what products keep people coming back.
