Rice Krispies treats are the sweetest way to make any day a celebration. The chewy cereal treats are buttery, marshmallow-y, and oh-so easy. While the classic back-of-the-box recipe is close to perfection, there’s an easy way to make them even more festive: Fill the treats with colorful sprinkles!

Funfetti Flair with 2 Easy Additions

  1. Add sprinkles, of course! Sprinkles are a must-have for Funfetti sweets, and we like multi-colored long, waxy, cylindrical sprinkles for these Rice Krispies treats. Save a few to press into the top of the treats for a pretty presentation.
  2. Almond extract for birthday-cake flavor. Boxed birthday-cake mix has an aroma that cannot be achieved with vanilla extract alone. The secret? Add a splash of almond extract to the mix.
