It used to be that the only raw vegetables I ever ate were of the salad variety. But in the last few years, I’ve been plowing through a head of raw cauliflower and two crowns of broccoli each week. (I’m just one person, and that’s no small feat!) I credit my upped veggie intake to this large-and-in-charge and oh-so-delicious Costco find: a 1.5-pound tub of Bitchin’ Sauce .

My first taste of Bitchin’ Sauce was at a friend’s house. (You know something’s good when you add it to your grocery list immediately after trying it.) This stuff is seriously so tasty, and it’s vegan! It features ingredients like almonds, lemon juice, and nutritional yeast.

It’s luxuriously creamy (but still somehow dairy-free), tangy, and extremely well-seasoned. I’ve heard some people liken the texture to a thick-and-creamy salad dressing, or a smooth hummus, and I agree. In addition to being an excellent dip, it’s also a great sandwich spread or mayonnaise alternative in tuna and egg salad.

There are a few different flavors, and at this point I’ve tried them all. In addition to being a loyal devotee to their Original flavor, I also swear by Bombay . But ever since Costco started carrying the brand’s Chipotle option (a 1.5-pound value tub for $8.99!), that’s become my tried-and-true. (For what it’s worth, I also really like supporting a small California-based company!)

Every Sunday night, I chop up a bunch of broccoli and cauliflower and transfer the bite-sized florets into plastic tubs. From there, I dip as I please throughout the week. After just a few minutes of effort, I’m left with a week’s worth of snacks that I can mindlessly munch on while at my computer.

This is not the kind of dip you’ll fly through in one sitting (if you do, I’d be concerned). Each 24-ounce container of Bitchin’ Sauce lasts me about a month. (It’s perishable, so make sure you refrigerate it, and be sure to check the Use-By date on the bottom of the container.)

On the very sad day that I finish all the dip, I wash out the plastic container and it joins my army of other containers, which I use to store those already-cut florets. The veggie/dip continuum never ends!
