I’ve missed brunch a lot during the past year. It’s such a big social event with friends, lots of food, and plenty of time to sit and chat (the unlimited mimosas don’t hurt, either). Also, I am not a morning person, so I appreciate any chance to sleep in for hours and still start the day with breakfast food.

Brunch isn’t just breakfast food, though. We need to get the “lunch” part of “brunch” in there too, maybe with a nice cheesy risotto or savory crab cakes. There’s no limit to what you can serve at brunch. That’s why we asked the Kitchn Collective for their favorite brunch recipes. Here’s what they had to say.

1. Sheet Pan Breakfast Pizza

“This sheet pan breakfast pizza is my go-to easy brunch recipe. It’s fully customizable, and you can even do more than one flavor in one sheet pan! It’s quick for guests, totally fool-proof, and ultra delicious!” — Becky Hardin from The Cookie Rookie

2. Blackened Chicken Enchiladas

“I started having brunches with family that include these enchiladas, and they are seriously so magical. The mix of Southern spice with the blackened chicken goes perfectly with these creamy, cheesy enchiladas!” — Jocelyn Delk Adams from Grandbaby Cakes

3. Green Shakshuka

“I love making green shakshuka for brunch. This recipe is a twist on the classic North African shakshuka, which is traditionally eggs baked in tomato-pepper sauce, with cumin, paprika, and cayenne. I love adding leeks, celery, Swiss chard, and spinach. Not only is this a great way to use up leftover greens, but it also comes together fast and it’s so delicious.” — Alice Choi from Hip Foodie Mom

4. Blueberry Banana Bread

“As a busy mom, the idea of a leisurely brunch is fairly laughable, but it’s actually possible with recipes like this one that can be made ahead and taste as good from the fridge as they do warm out of the oven. We love this chilled, toasted, or warmed slightly … for brunch or really any meal or snack!” — Amy Palanjian from Yummy Toddler Food
