I Can’t Get Over the Dreamy Peel-and-Stick Pink Backsplash in This Kitchen

This past weekend during Kitchn’s Brunch Fest on Instagram, I was mostly there for the food. I watched as Ruth Tam made her blueberry-almond bubble bread , and Jocelyn Delk Adams worked her magic on this cinnamon roll pound cake . I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with someone’s kitchen, but here we are.

When Alejandra Ramos was demonstrating her recipe for chorizo and potato breakfast empanadas , everyone got a peek into her gorgeous studio kitchen — which included this dreamy pink backsplash. I’ve always loved subway tiles in the kitchen, but she took it to a new level with soft pink. It added so much character! And it made me immediately want to hang out in that kitchen — as a cook, a friend, or a nosy neighbor who takes bites of food before it’s ready to eat.

It was only after Brunch Fest was over that I found out that the backsplash is peel-and-stick ! Meaning you — yes, you — could do this to your kitchen right now without it costing too much money. The subway tile stickers come in a few other colors like navy and sage, if pink is not your thing.

The reviews of these peel-and-stick tiles are pretty amazing. “It is incredible. It looks like real ceramic tiles. It is super easy to install,” says one commenter. “These tiles are absolutely beautiful and there isn’t a single person who doesn’t believe they aren’t high quality grouted tiles when they see them,” says another. Are you sold yet?

I think pink kitchens might be having a moment, because when Pepper Teigen shared her recipe for kanom krok during Brunch Fest she also had the most gorgeous pink backsplash ! From some internet snooping, I believe she was filming at the Cravings offices. The tiles were different shades of pink from Alejandra’s, and appeared to go up higher on her wall. I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume those aren’t peel-and-stick, but a girl can dream.
