While we all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, there’s often a laundry list of reasons why it’s also the most difficult to get right on a regular basis. (I’m a registered dietitian, so trust me, I’ve heard them all.) But I have some news that you might be happy to hear: A great, filling, and delicious breakfast does not require a ton of time and effort — it can be as easy as pressing the “start” button on your microwave. Yes, really!

The next time you’re at the grocery store, I suggest you take a walk down the freezer aisle to pick up breakfast for the week. I recently asked nine other registered dietitians (who are experts on quick, easy, and tasty food) for their thoughts on the best breakfasts in the frozen aisle. Whether you need something portable while juggling coffee and getting kids ready for school, or something that’ll be ready in seconds before your first Zoom meeting of the day, these frozen options can make sure that you never have to skip breakfast again.
