I don’t know about you, but I don’t necessarily buy something every Amazon Prime Day . Sometimes there are so many deals that I can’t actually narrow things down. Some years, I get too busy with work that I end up missing all the sales. And sometimes, my wish list and the sales don’t overlap. This year, though? Well, this year these Zip Top bags are 20 percent off. I already have a whole set at home, but I plan on buying a few more — and I think you should too! In fact, I’m going to make the bold statement and tell you that if you only buy one thing this Amazon Prime Day, it should be these Zip Top Bags . Hear me out.

The sale : All Zip Top bags are 20 percent off on June 21 and June 22.

I have tried lots of different reusable bags in attempts to cut down on the number of single-use plastic baggies I go through, and I have been disappointed too many times. I haven’t loved how difficult it is to clean some silicone bags (especially ones that can’t be flipped inside out!). I’ve struggled to keep some closed. I’ve ripped the seams of some supposedly sturdy plastic ones. My list of gripes goes on. I’ve spent way too much money and added way too many so-called-reusable baggies to the landfill. But then I found Zip Top .

These silicone bags are ridiculously sturdy and they stand up on their on their own, which is not only great for filling purposes, but also for cleaning. I can just put them on the top rack of the dishwasher and they get perfectly clean. There are no corners or creases for gunk to hide in! And that means they dry much faster than other bags too.

The zip top (it’s more than just a clever name!) is also incredibly easy to close. While I wouldn’t necessarily fill a bag with soup and toss it in my purse, I would fill it and line it up in my fridge or freezer without worry. I also love that these bags are easy to pour from (see soup idea above!) and that certain ones fit in the cup holder of my car (strawberry slices to go!).

I have a full set , featuring a few different sizes, and they’re almost always in constant use in my house. (I even find myself reaching for them when Old Me would have pulled out a plastic deli container.) That said, you can also buy them a la carte based on your needs. And if you have little ones in your house, you have to see these kid-friendly baggies ! Again, all the styles are on sale for 20 percent off right now.

In case I’m not convincing enough, know that Riddley Gemperlein-Schirm , Kitchn’s tools editor, also swears by these silicone bags. “I honestly didn’t expect to love these containers nearly as much as I do,” she says. “I’ve been using them for meal prep, storing cut-up veggies, and stashing away snacks! I also use them for mise en place — I love that they stand up straight, have wide bases that prevent them from tipping over, and are easily pressed (zipped!) closed. Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about them.”

Convinced? Yay! Now, if you want to buy one more thing this Prime Day, may I suggest this not-be-missed cleaning set ?
