Are you planning a warm-weather getaway this summer? I know I am. Higher temps call for trips to the beach to cool off, so that’s where I’m headed. Do me a favor, though? While you’re packing up your towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and SPF, make sure to also bring some snacks from Trader Joe’s. They have the best snacks for pretty much any occasion — and I post a lot of them over on my Instagram, @BlackGirlsinTraderJoes .

Because cooler space is sometimes limited when you’re heading to the beach, I like to pack a variety of snacks that taste good at any temperature. Here’s my list of the top 10 snacks that I’m bringing with me for a day in the sand.

1. Everything But The Bagel Nut Duo, $3.99 for 8 ounces

This beloved seasoning of poppyseeds, sesame seeds, sea salt, garlic, and onion coat this “nut duo” of almonds and cashews for a satisfying snack that’ll keep you full while lounging between meals.

2. Soft & Juicy Mango, $1.99 for 6 ounces

Tropical and chewy mango is the perfect beach-bag snack. These slices come dried, so they won’t make your hands sticky or end up making a sandy mess. If you’re traveling with a group, maybe get two pouches: My guess is that you’ll end up sharing this.

3. Plantain Chips (Regular & Jerk), $1.79 for 6 ounces

Do me one more favor and choose plantain chips over potato chips this summer. Trader Joe’s plantain chips are perfectly cooked in sunflower oil then sprinkled with sea salt. They come in a regular or jerk-style for those that are ready to bring some heat to the beach.

4. Watermelon Cucumber Cooler, $3.99 for 64 ounces

May I interest you in some watermelon and cucumber on a hot day? This juicy combination makes for a lovely beach sipper if you throw it in a travel tumbler. Or save it for later and use this jug to whip up a post-beach cocktail.

5. Oven Baked Cheese Bites, $2.99 for 2.11 ounces

Having a charcuterie board when it’s 90ºF out is not ideal. These crunchy cheese bites are a perfect substitution for cheese and crackers on a hot day.

6. Corn & Chile Tomato-less Salsa, $2.49 for 13.75 ounces

This corn and chile tomato-less salsa is a pantry staple in my house during the summer. It’s one of the first products I ever tried from Trader Joe’s and I find myself recommending it time and time again.

7. Patio Potato Chips, $2.29 for 6 ounces

Remember what I said about potato chips before? I’ll make an exception for these Patio Potato Chips that combine Sea Salt & Vinegar, Delicious Dill, Homestyle Ketchup, and Smokin’ Sweet BBQ all in one bag. Together, these are magic.

8. Peach Salsa, $2.29 for 12 ounces

This salsa is sweet, smoky, and a little spicy, which makes it a great addition to any beach party. I like to even keep a jar of this in the pantry for a rainy day at home because it makes me feel like I’m on a tropical vacation.

9. Fruit Jellies, $3.99 for 16 ounces

These old-school gummy squares are infused with real fruit juices and will make your mouth water. They come in flavors like orange, grape, lemon, blueberry, raspberry, and mandarin. (It’s basically a fruit salad!)

10. Mango & Jicama Slaw, $4.99 for 12 ounces

If you leave room in your cooler for just one snack, this summery slaw should be it. Eat it straight out of the container for a refreshing bite, or use it to top sandwiches to give them a tropical spin.
