An Array of Tableware Up for Grabs
Tiwa Select is selling platters by a dozen artists with a dreamy presale viewing in a barn in the Catskills.
Tiwa Select, an online source for household and tabletop objects made by artists, is holding a live exhibit and sale called Big Plates, with serving platters from 12 artists commissioned by Alex Tieghi-Walker and Fiona Mackay, partners in the company. The platters, designed for summer entertaining, will be displayed in the woods near Ms. Mackay’s barn in Stone Ridge, N.Y., in the Catskills from Aug. 5 through 7 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Confirmation of attendance must be made at studio@tiwa-select.com . The pieces, produced in small multiple editions, range in price from $420 to $3,800 each and will also be sold online.
