Temps are hot these days and we all deserve a sweet, frozen treat. Luckily Trader Joe’s has a large selection of delicious and decadent desserts. It’s almost too large, though. How are you supposed to know what to throw into your little red cart? As someone who runs a Trader Joe’s account on Instagram ( @BlackGirlsInTraderJoes ), I feel very qualified to help you with this. I’ve done the tasting and the testing and the reviewing. I’ve got my favorites and the ones I wouldn’t buy again.

These are my picks for the 10 best frozen desserts at Trader Joe’s.

1. Key Lime Pie, $5.49 for 17-ounces

This pie is tart and light, and the graham cracker crust is sheer perfection. And it has the true, natural color of the Florida key lime. Looking for a more tropical vibe? Top it with the Trader Joe’s coconut whipped cream.

2. Cheese-less Cheesecakes, $3.99 for two

How does this even make sense? I’m not sure. What I do know is that you are still getting the textbook cheesecake texture without any dairy! This is good to keep on hand in case you need a last-minute vegan dessert.

3. Classic Lemon Bars, $4.49 for 12

As a huge fan of all things citrus in the summer months, these lemon bars hit the spot. They’re a timeless classic and Trader Joe’s does it right!

4. Gone Berry Crazy, $2.29 for 5.3 ounces

Chocolate-covered strawberries don’t have to be saved for Valentine’s Day! Grab a box of these dark chocolate-covered strawberries for when you need a chocolate fix.

5. Apple Blossoms, $2.29 for two

Do you really want to bake an entire apple pie when it’s 80-plus degrees outside? I know I don’t. I heat these up and add my favorite vanilla ice cream.

6. Fruit Frenzy Bars, $2.69 for four

A layered raspberry, lemon, and strawberry Popsicle: Seems pretty standard, right? Dunk it in a glass of Champagne, though, and you have a special treat. (It also makes for an impressive brunch cocktail!)

7. Hold The Cone Chocolate Chip, $3.29 for eight

Some of my favorite memories involve chasing that ice cream truck. Now I can indulge with a cone (or two) just by opening my freezer door.

8. Brownie Crisp Coffee Ice Cream Sandwiches, $3.99 for four

The name says it all: A crispy brownie sandwiches the coffee ice cream for a sweet treat that’s, um, perfect for breakfast.

9. Speculoos Cookie Butter Ice Cream, $4.99 for a quart

If you love cookie butter, you have to try this. Not only is it great on its own (those ribbons of cookie butter throughout!), but it also makes for an incredible milkshake.

10. Vanilla Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert, $3.99 for 1 pint

Another win for the lactose-intolerant and vegan community! I love this in a root beer float.
