Costco Just Came Out with a Bunch of New Good-for-You Snacks — Here Are the 10 You Should Buy
published about 2 hours agoI love shopping at Costco for many, many reasons. One that tops my list? The fact that I can find something new during every single visit. Usually a few somethings, in fact. Case in point: During my most recent shopping trip, I found a huge assortment of brand-new, good-for-you snacks that will satisfy all sorts of dietary interests and needs. I found keto-friendly crackers, treats for people who are following the Paleo lifestyle, low-sugar candy bars, and so much more. Of all the new treats that I spotted, these are the 10 that I think are worth adding to your cart.
1. Barnana Plantain Chips, $7 for 20 ounces
These plantain chips are vegan, Paleo-approved, gluten-free, and a great source of fiber. They’re made with extra-virgin coconut oil and really do crunch just like a potato chip.
2. UNREAL Dark Chocolate Coconut Minis, $10 for 15.34 ounces
No doubt, these have taken the top spot as my favorite “candy bar.” They’re made with organic dark chocolate and organic coconut, and have half the amount of sugar as a typical candy bar. I also love that they only have three ingredients and are sweetened with cassava syrup instead of white sugar.
3. Stonyfield Organic Yogurt Pouches, $15 for 16 pouches
Yogurt pouches are for kids and adults! Stonyfield was already my favorite brand of organic yogurt, and now these pouches will make yogurt-ing so much more convenient. Each pouch offers 5 different strains of live and active probiotic cultures to support gut health. I also love that they are made with real fruits and vegetables and have only 4 grams of sugar per pouch. For just $15, you get a huge box of 16 pouches and two flavors: Pear, Spinach, Mango and Strawberry Beet Berry.
4. InnoFoods Keto Crackers, $8 for 16 ounces
If you follow a keto lifestyle, crackers are back on the table again! InnoFoods Keto Crackers are made with ground almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, coconut, and hemp seeds — with no added sugar. These crackers are full of healthy fats and fiber for steady blood sugar levels and contain a decent dose of protein. They’re also non-GMO and gluten-free.
5. Late July Jalapeño Lime Tortilla Chips, $6.50 for 24 ounces
These chips by Late July quickly became a favorite with my family. I love that they have no hydrogenated oils, are organic, and are made with non-GMO stone-ground corn instead of refined corn flour. They go great with salsa, hummus, or guacamole, and are gluten-free and vegan. Made with real jalapeño and lime juice, these are a flavorful must-try.
6. Parm Crisps Ranch Snack Mix, $16 for 20 ounces
Who doesn’t love a good ranch-flavored snack? This snack mix features dry-roasted almonds, cashews, pistachios, and 100% Parmesan cheese crisps — all with a dusting of ranch powder. It’s keto-friendly snack that’s also low in carbs and has no added sugar.
7. Girl Scout Thin Mints Almonds, $12 for 1.88 pounds
These are, easily, the best Costco-exclusive find of recent history! These crunchy, slightly sweet, dark chocolate-covered almonds have all the flavors of Thin Mints, only, yes, they’re almonds. They’re also made with real peppermint!
8. Keto Blueberry Crumble Nut Granola, $13 for 22 ounces
Made with real sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, pecans, coconut chips, blueberries, and cinnamon, this mix would fit into any lifestyle — keto or not. For 1/3 cup, you get a nice dose of protein and fiber.
9. Chloe’s Lime Pops, $10 for 16 pops
Ice pops are a must for summer, but most brands are filled with artificial flavors and/or preservatives, not to mention corn syrup and other things I don’t want in my Popsicles. Not these! Chloe’s Lime Pops are made with real lime juice, water, and just a touch of real unrefined cane sugar. They’re tart, sweet, and only $10 a box!
10. Cado Avocado Deep Dark Chocolate Frozen Dessert, $15 for 4 pints
Made from avocados instead of dairy, Cado Deep Dark Chocolate Ice Cream is creamy, rich, and full of flavor. It’s actually super creamy because of all those healthy fats that avocados contain! Get this dark chocolate flavor: You will not regret it.
