Walking into a Costco isn’t exactly like walking into an Anthropologie . What I mean by that is that the warehouse store doesn’t really have a signature scent that hits you when you cross over the threshold. (Too bad we can’t smell the savings!) But, Costco does have things that can get your own kitchen smelling like perfection. Whether you prefer a freshly baked treat or freshly cut flowers, Costco has something for everyone.

Once you have scoped out new freezer finds and scoured Costco’s snack section , wind your way back through the warehouse for items that will make your kitchen smell amazing. Grab a cart, and let’s get shopping!

1. Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate Brownie Mix, $11.99 for 120 ounces

With their crackly tops, fudgy centers, and melted chocolate chips, these brownies are as good as (or better than!) homemade. They even made our list of Kitchn Essentials two years in a row. Pop a pan of the chocolatey batter into the oven, and the decadent aroma will fill the kitchen in minutes with almost no measuring required!

2. DampRid Moisture Absorber, $8.89 for pack of 4

Kitchens are home to some of the best and worst smells in the home. If musty odors greet you each time you open the cabinet doors, it’s time to eliminate excess moisture. Hang a DampRid bag under the sink or in the pantry to keep humid areas dry.

3. HEPA Air Purifier with WiFi, $129.99

Unpleasant aromas come and go, but if the scents linger longer than you’d like, it might be time to invest in an air purifier. Air purifiers improve your home’s air quality — especially when equipped with a HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filtration system to capture 99.97% of air particles.

4. Roses, $18.99 for two-dozen

A bouquet of fresh flowers can brighten your day and freshen up a room. Split the double-dozen roses (or other mixed floral bouquets ) into smaller arrangements to display throughout the kitchen. Not only will it add color and freshness to the room, but you’ll also smell the heady aroma of fresh flowers everywhere you walk.

5. Rosemary Bread, $6.99 for two (1-pound) loaves

There’s nothing like the aroma of freshly baked bread, and although my sourdough starter lasted longer than most, it’s been a year since my last loaf. Now when I want my kitchen to smell like a bakery, I slide a loaf of Costco’s fresh bread onto a baking sheet and into a warm oven. By the time the yeasty aroma fills the air, the crust is crisp, crackly, and ready for a swipe of softened butter.

6. Kirkland Signature Microwave Popcorn, $9.99 for 44 (3.3-ounce) bags

Miss that buttery movie theater smell? Pop a bag of this popcorn into the microwave. In minutes, it’ll be just like the movies with an aroma of salty, buttery popcorn in the air. You might as well watch a movie, while you’re at it.
