Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be all about roses and chocolates (as delightful as they are). This year, you can get a little more creative with gifts for your loved ones while also supporting one of the many great Black-owned companies that are creating some really tasty treats and cool, food-themed products. In doing so, you’ll support small businesses, empower communities, and help contribute to closing the wide racial wealth gap that exists in America. And don’t forget — February is Black History Month, too, so it’s the perfect time to patronize a brand that might be new to you. Our team put together a list of some of our favorite food-related Valentine’s Day gifts from Black-owned businesses, including some you’ll probably want to order for yourself, even long after February 14th has passed.
Golde is a forward-thinking brand that offers all types of delicious superfoods and plant-based beauty products that support well being. We're particular fans of their turmeric latte powders, which offer a host of benefits ranging from supporting gut health to balancing stress.
